Beginners K9 Nose Work®
Class & Course Details
K9 Nose Work® was inspired by working detection dogs. Using their nose, dogs will learn to build their confidence, increase focus & concentrate despite distractions! K9 Nose Work®’s mission is to create opportunities for dogs to develop their natural scenting abilities & use this to build strong human-animal bonds that encourage mutual trust & respect. This 6 week intro class is designed to start you & your dog on your Nose Work journey. It starts starts with getting your dog excited about using their nose to seek out a favorite toy or treat reward hidden in one of several boxes, expanding the game to entire rooms, exterior areas, and even vehicles! As your dog grows more confident with their nose, target odors can be introduced, and competition skills can be taught! Dogs enter the search area 1 at a time & wait in their car or crate between turns.

Cancellation Policy
Your appointment time is reserved for your dog. A late cancellation or missed visit leaves a space that could have been filled by another client and their dog. As such, we require 24 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. Clients who provide less than 24 hours notice, or miss their appointment, will be charged their class fee in full.
