Start your K9 Nose Work® journey with K9 Nose Work® Foundations, the perfect introduction to this enriching and fun activity inspired by working detection dogs. This 6-week course is designed to help you and your dog build the foundational skills for successful scent work. In this course, your dog will: - Learn foundational box work to kickstart their searching skills - Build confidence in new environments and situations - Develop drive and enthusiasm for scent work - Strengthen their ability to search independently Dogs will start by using their nose to seek out a favourite toy or treat reward hidden in one of several boxes, and as their skills grow, searches will expand to include entire rooms end exterior areas. This course not only builds your dog’s natural scenting abilities but also fosters a strong human-animal bond based on trust and mutual respect. How it works: Dogs enter the search area one at a time and wait in their car or crate between turns, ensuring a low-stress and focused learning environment.

Cancellation Policy

Your appointment time is reserved for your dog. A late cancellation or missed visit leaves a space that could have been filled by another client and their dog. As such, we require 24 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. Clients who provide less than 24 hours notice, or miss their appointment, will be charged their class fee in full.
